DeNami Sketch Challenge #12

Here is a quick card based on the lastest DeNami Designs Sketch Challenge.

I used a favorite stamp of mine, Elegant Floral Circle J138, which I colored with Prismacolor pencils.  I added some black glaze pen dots on the outer circle which are hard to see in the photo.  Underneath is a scrap of Paper Parachute paper.  I love their papers so much I don't throw away any scraps.  On the side is Tim Holtz file tab.  I admit I'm a little addicted to Tim's stuff after the classes I attended last weekend.  I know the vintage look doesn't really match the elegant DeNami stamp, but I wanted to use something different than ribbon, so there you go.

The circle is mounted with foam tape to an olive background with A Muse dotted swiss sheer ribbon.  Another thing I've been hanging on to because I love it and can't get it easily.  The card base has the D127 Elegant Floral Leaf Sprig stamped randomly.  I originally stamped it in Versamark ink but it didn't show on this card so I added more with Always Artichoke ink.

Finally I made a little shrink plastic flower using D128 Elegant Floral Blossom colored with Prismacolor pencils.

How many of us have some of that plastic stuck away among our treasures and forget to use it?  Again, I just wanted to use something different.  Enjoy looking at all the entries to the challenge.  They are excellent.  Happy Memorial Day.

I'm looking forward to seeing some DeNami addicts at the Springfield stamp expo next week.  Stop by and say hi while you pick up some of the new cling mount stamps and old favorites.
