I won the DeNami Blog Hop prize!!! Yeah!!!
Yeah! I won the DeNami blog hop prize for participants. I'm so excited. This is the first time I participated as an artist and I loved it. Lots of new people stopped by my blog, left wonderful comments about my card, and a few followers became new blog members. This is a great way to connect with other artists. How easy will it be to spend a DeNami gift certificate? Very! Can't wait. Thank you Paulina for organizing this event.

DeNami Color Challenge #4
Here are two cards I created based on the current color challenge: Black, White and Magenta. Great colors with endless possibilities. I had a difficult time picking which stamps to use. I love the elegant stamps for designs used by many of the design team members. Since there were so many wonderful cards displayed with those stamps, I wanted to create something a little different.
The heart border is stamped with black Versafine ink on a white layer. The hearts are colored with marker and covered with crystal Stickles. The image layer is placed on various layers of Bazzil textured magenta card stock and black and white cardstock. The bottom white layer has a lattice border punched with a Martha Stewart punch. It's all topped with various paper flowers with black brads. I love using paper flowers.
The second card uses the same black and magenta papers but the white paper is also textured. The image on the right side is a rub on from Me and My Big Ideas. The elegant floral solid flower tops layers of punched circle which are adhered to silver glitter ribbon. I know silver wasn't a color to be included but I've been looking for a way to use this unique ribbon. It's a very quick and simple card. I hope you enjoy the them. Please leave a comment if you have time or sign up as a follower. I love sharing art with other stampers addicted to DeNami designs. Have a great day

DeNami Cuddly Critters Blog Hop
Welcome to my blog! If you are following the DeNami Cuddly Critters Blog Hop, you've traveled here from Laurie Chilton's blog. Laurie's chickie heart card is very warm and cheery. Keep following the hop to see other wonderful creations with fun furry or feathered creatures. To start at the beginning of the hop, go to the DeNami blog site.
The card I've created starts with a base card of DeNami leaf green card stock. The top portion includes the small stitched circle stamp filled with carrot stamp from the veggie stamp set. Both are stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink on a white cardstock layer. The carrots are colored with orange and green markers and I added small circles of orange to fill in the white space.
The middle border has a medium brown layer, an orange layer, and a white layer which is stamped with the bunny border stamp, also in Vintage Sepia ink. (Bunnies for the hop!) They have a quick color of Stampin' Up! So Saffron with a touch of pink in the ears. For the tails, I added crystal jewels. Gotta have a little bling! I've used flock, lacquer, glitter and pearls (liquid or jewel style) to fill in the tails on this stamp depending on the base paper color, but with a white base I thought crystal would work best. I added a shower sentiment but this could work for Easter, spring, or a baby card as well. I've finished the card with silver edged white ribbon.
I loved creating this card and participating in the blog hop. What did I learn? There are many more critter stamps and sayings I want! You probably feel the same. To continue on the hop travel to Angela Pruisman's blog. I hope you enjoy the hop. Please join my blog so we can share art in the future and thanks for stopping (or hopping) by. Leave a comment to increase your chances to win a prize. Thanks to DeNami for hosting this event.

Thanks you to all my friends in art and of heart
I want to thank you all for your cards, hugs, prayers, emails, and calls to help me through a terrible experience. Ultimately, only time, prayer and your support will make a difference. That and a little art. I spent last Sunday with some of my favorite artists and put whatever energy I had into the project at hand.
I'm sending love and prayers back to you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
